Gabriel P. Mathy
Fellow at IMPA and Associate Professor of Economics, American University
Prof. Mathy’s research focuses on macroeconomics and economic history, particularly the macroeconomics of the Great Depression and interwar period. He obtained his PhD and MA in Economics from the University of California, Davis, and BA degrees in Economics and International Studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Pablo A. Troncoso
Prof. Troncoso was an IMPA Fellow in June 2023. He studies pension systems and informal work. He obtained his PhD and MA in Economics from the University of Georgia, and an MA and BA in Economics from the University of Chile. He is also a Visiting Scholar at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta.
